La Toussuire, at the heart of the giant Sybelles ski region, which links the six slopes of six neighbouring resorts in the Maurienne Valley, via the Pointe de Ouillon, has an 1800m snowsure altitude. . It can be skied on its own (Toussuire-Bottisres pass includes access to 45km of pistes) or as part of the much larger Les Sybelles lift area (Bottisres - Toussuire - Corbier - St Jean d'Arves - St Sorlin d'Arves - St Colomban des Villards - 310km of pistes to 2620m), via the resort of Le Corbier or via the high mountain lifts at Chalets D'Olle. Apart from the extensive downhill, La Toussuire also offers border-cross, extensive cross-country skiing, a natural ice rink, snowmobiling and husky sleighs. Slopeside accommodation Although La Toussuire is fairly compact, there is plenty of apres-ski including a disco, cinema and flight-seeing.
